Insert a video

To upload and link to a video or audio file:
  1. In any Moodle activity where the text editor exists (e.g. when adding a forum post) click the Moodle Media icon .
  2. Click the Find or upload a sound, video or applet... button.
  3. In the File picker window, choose theBox from the left hand side.

    Choose theBox respository
  4. Choose your file by:
    1. Clicking the Select your file button and browse for your file on your computer. OR
    2. Drag and drop the file into the window.

      Choose video file
  5. Choose the proper  Copyright setting for the file.
  6. Click the Save button.
  7. Click the Insert button.
  8. The audio or video file will now be uploaded.  Please ensure you finish completing the activity you were working on.
Note: If you have uploaded a video it will not be available immediately but will be transcoded by the system so that it's viewable in the web browser.
